Hello. I'm Cheryl. Writer. Author. Traveler. Human in love with words. ​

I began my love of the written word at the age of 2 year's old when my Mom would read me the adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Winnie and Christopher Robin were my introduction into the world of words. These words created a magic place to travel without ever leaving my tiny, toddler bed.

 

Since then... and many years have passed... my love for the written word has continued to grow, and I am still enthralled. It amazes me -  the same 26-letters can: document science advances; make poetry that will move you to tears; create stories to make you laugh; and so capture a thought that once set free in the world it fashions a shared experience with the readers, all strangers, or as my sister says - friends we just haven't met yet.

My sense of humor leans toward the perverse, my friends are unique, and the best people are the ones with an appreciation for the absurd. Welcome new friends!
